It is so quiet at night. Everything gets magnified. Grief, love, sorrow, desire, brotherhood, loneliness…. all of it expands to fill up the dark.

    true.. wide open spaces usually add a tone of optimism which night rarely does though.

    there aren't a lot of wide open spaces in my country. one of my favourite wide open spot is being turned into some fancy recreation centre, pooey to the money-makers.
