On The Straits Times Journalist

A poem by Humbert Wolfe (1885-1940)

You cannot hope
    to bribe or twist,
thank God! the
    Straits Times* journalist.

But, seeing what
    the man will do
unbribed, there's
    no occasion to.

* Original, British

ouch... that stung...

to be fair tho... it's the editors who are to shoulder the blame as they decide the "angle" and the slant of the story... the journos have little say... so much for freedom of the press, huh...
