Late Christmas Greetings

Feeling a little sick since I got back from Kota Kinabalu: slight headache, feverish, no appetite, no motivation to work or play, cannot stand, cannot walk, cannot climb, and certainly cannot walk down steps. This trip costs one grand, one Christmas, and comes with a lot of side effects; yet, so worth it.

Merry Christmas everyone... Hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas season.

Yes, the stairs part! After I climbed Mt Kinabalu, I felt as if my legs were a spirit level --they could detect the slightest change in the slope of the ground.

I've never climbed that mountain or any other and after your description of the after effects it's doubtful I ever will.

Glad you made it!!!

Ah so you climbed it too Canopy! Bet I'm hurting more than you did though. It seems like I'm hobbling worse than everyone. :)

Jim, it really isn't that bad. Guys with long legs have it easier on the downslope cos they are typically more dare-devil and are able to skip down the slope like a light-heartd gazelle, which really helps save both the muscles and the knees. Wait till you see the pics.. :) Maybe you'll change your mind!

Colin - Hope you're feeling better. It will be awful to be sick over Christmas AND New Year..

Jim - Good, blogger. Sit, blogger. :)

Canopy - You know, thinking about what you said, it kinda reminds me of the hymn by Charles Wesley:

I want a principle within of watchful, godly fear,
A sensibility of sin, a pain to feel it near.
I want the first approach to feel of pride or wrong desire,
To catch the wandering of my will, and quench the kindling fire.
