Sunday Lunch

PICT1990

Celebrated my mother's birthday by catching a free wind ensemble perfomance at the esplanade, and then heading to Siam Kitchen for a bounteous Thai buffet lunch.

The audience at the performace irritated me with their hooting and other obnoxious behaviour. But it was all put right after a couple of plates of spicy pomolo salad.

Happy birthday, mum.

hmmm... the arts scene does take time and patience to develop i guess... after all, most developed countries have had centuries to get to where they are now... we expect a lot from SGeans, who've tried to telescope time into mere decades... things are bound to get lost in compression... just like dithering from 600dpi to just 60dpi...

Yep. Hey, by the way Colin, do you know whatever happened to Siren of siren.inspirelight.net? It is a bit worrying when people disappear like that..
