What is the best PDA device for the Mac?

I need it to sync seamlessly with iCal, Address Book and the To-do
list. Preferably using iSync.

Historically, it used to be that only Palm-powered devices sync'd (sunk? Haha...) well with Mac OS. This was before Palm screwed up syncing with Mac, anyway.

But, now, with Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, you are free to use any PDA.

Personally, I think the PDA-only device is a dying segment of the market; you're probably better off with a PDA/Phone device.

True. But PDA/Phones are so expensive. I would love to have one but I'm resistent to the idea of carrying a $700-$800 portable gadget in my pocket. And besides, none of them are perfect. The Treo doesn't have wi-fi and the O2 runs on Windows and doesn't have a keypad... I wonder how the Sony Ericsson P910 (?) matches up... Hmm.

Do you use one?

AND Missing Sync costs US$40 too!

Hey, US$40 is a steal for what it gets you; try using Microsoft ActiveSync on Windows with Outlook for a day and you'll be screaming in no time. Think of US$40 as S$0.17 per day for a year. Not so bad, right?

My last Pocket PC (Windows Mobile) PDA was a Toshiba e740, with a HP iPAQ H3870 and a Compaq H3630 before that. I'm using a Sony CLIE NX70V now just for the sheer nostalgia of it.

Personally, I still like my devices separate; try looking up a contact while on the phone. Of course, there's always Bluetooth, but we all know how geeky that is. And this is from a geek... :P

I luurve bluetooth. I swear I won't get another device if it doesn't have bluetooth. Heh.

I'm really curious about the Sony CLIE. The last time I took a look at one, it still had green letters against a green backdrop. Ghastly.
